Margaret did not have any children. Although she married William Tweedale when he was 24 and she was 36, I don't think that's why there were no children. Margaret's experiences as a school marm in Cobalt and Timmins or her place in a the very large Thomson family may have had more to do with the childlessness. She was very maternal towards her nephews and nieces and very protective of Tom and his legacy.
